[MassHistPres] solar panels in historic districts

James,

Every manufacturer has at least a slightly different installation method
(some dramatically different) therefore product specifications need to be
closely examined before making any assumptions as to how things will turn
out when complete.

The solar shingles we are talking about in Brookline are called Sunslates
and are manufactured by Atlantis Energy. There are some pictures at their
website, we installed the roof on the red cape house on the bottom left of
their front page. I know they have an installation manual online for anyone
interested in seeing the engineering side too.
