Save the Date - October 20, 2011

The Yarmouth New Church Preservation Foundation will host a lecture by
John Canning titled "Preserving Historic Interiors:  How to Assess and
Conserve or Restore Historic Painting and Woodwork."  The free lecture
will be held on October 20, 2011 at 4:30 pm  in the Audience Room of the
Yarmouth New Church Preservation Foundation building, located at the
head of the Common on Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. 

Canning, a leading authority on traditional decorative painting
materials and techniques, has recently conducted an assessment of the
Yarmouth New Church Preservation Foundation's historic interior.  That
project and the lecture are funded by a grant from the National Trust
for Historic Preservation's Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic
Interiors.
