[MassHistPres] Policy re Memorials & Plaques?

Brookline has a naming committee to prevent inappropriate re-namings from being pushed thru town meeting without time for reflection, and I believe Plymouth has a committee dealing with things of a memorial nature after they got out of hand in the schools.
