The Milton Poor Farm was given to the Town under the will of the former Gov Stoughton with the board of selectman serving as trustees of the land and buildings The Commonwealth has oversight over sale of the property I am not sure if this comment is on point but I thought it might be of interest I am not sure if the PNS is finalized but 30 of the 34 acres are slated to be developed into high end homes.
