[MassHistPres] S.2053 A Bill to Reduce MHC's review of state projects that have an adverse effect on historic properties in MHC's Inventory

As you may have seen from the posting to the listserv yesterday, the Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight has scheduled a hearing for this bill on Tues. Jan 24th at 10 AM in Room B1 at the State House (see notice below).  We have heard that many people from the Fall River area will be attending to speak in favor of the bill, so it will be very important for people to speak in opposition to the bill, since the bill will have an effect throughout the entire state.  We hope that preservationists will fill the room so their voices will be heard.
