[MassHistPres] Newton Community-wide Historic Properties Survey RFP

The Newton Planning Department, by andthrough the City of Newton, is seeking proposals from qualified historicpreservation consultant(s) to undertake a survey of 150 historic properties toMassachusetts Historical Commission’s standards as part of Newton’s EarlyIndustrial Period Architectural Survey Phase 1. Proposals must be received at the City of Newton Purchasing Department,Newton City Hall, 1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts, 02459, on orbefore 9:30 am, Friday, August 17th, 2012.
The City of Newton reserves the rightto reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposalprocess, if deemed in the City’s best interest. 
The Request for Proposals (RFP),containing the scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria,will be / is available upon request after 10:00 am, Friday, July 13th,2012 at the Purchasing Department, Newton City Hall, 1000 Commonwealth Avenue,Newton, Massachusetts, 02459.
Proposers must meet the followingminimum qualifications. Combined key personnel (can be more than one person)shall have the following: (1) a Master’s degree in History, ArchitecturalHistory, Historic Preservation, Art History, or a closely related field; and(2) five years of professional experience in historic preservation.
