Dear Preservationists. I ma considering working with a Historical Commission on which I serve along with a non profit which hasa preservation mission to develop a homeowners' booklet. It would include sources, local history information - alongwith some dos and don't on renovation and maintenance - a general guide and reference - partly to generate someappreciation, provide some orientation prior to undertaking irreversible changes which can detract from a home orneighborhood's historic features and appearance. The request is a revival of prior initiative which never really got off the ground, but there seems to be more support now. To those who responded several years ago, Sorry to impose again,But would still appreciate your help even if I am asking you to send something twice. I would be interested in any suggestions, experiences, and Particularly, any examples which you use in your town or city. Thanks again Jay Gaffney Tewksbury Historical Commission
