REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS*
Preservation Massachusetts is excited to invite you to a FREE paneled
webinar on *December 11th, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:30. *
The Historic Tax Credit Webinar will be paneled by four Preservation
Massachusetts Board of Directors who have extensive knowledge and
experience with Historic Tax Credits. Our Panelists are John Mackey, CPA of
Cohn Reznick, Dan Kolodner, Attorney of Klein Hornig LLP, Jason Korb,
Principal of Capstone Communities LLC, and Doug Kelleher, Principal
Preservation Consultant of Epsilon Associates.
*The Content of the Webinar will cover the following questions:*
1. What are Historic Tax Credits and how does my project qualify for
them?
2. What are the differences between Federal and State Historic Tax
Credits? How are they similar?
3. How are these tax credits monetized? What roles do partnerships or
LLCs play? What are “single tier” and “master lease” structures? What is
the impact of recent court cases on the marketplace for Historic Tax Credit
transactions?
4. What are the typical terms of Federal Historic Tax Credit investor
transactions?
5. Are there transaction tax issues to know about such as the impact
of an investor exit?
