best to find a local with the skills. There is a man named "Ladygo" on the North Shore above Boston who is an acknowledged expert in historic plaster and may know a NH or northern MA plasterer. I am certain he can be found on the web.
Also good to go to the web and download the NPS preservation brief on the topic: #21 - Repairing historic flat plaster - walls and ceilings. (I can send to anyone who requests, as a PDF.)

Subject: [MassHistPres] Plaster Repair
Hi folks -
Would anyone have reccomendations for a tradesman/consultant who would be able to repair plaster walls? Someone I know who has an eighteenth century building in southern NH is looking to finish the last bit of restoration work on their house and looking to do it in-kind rather than replacement.
Thanks!
Ryan D. Hayward
