DD delay.

It can be for anything the historical commission designates historic. I encourage folks to think behind the standard building. Lots of natural structures could serve as a shelters going back in time. Even stone walls. Land.

We had a problem when trying to save a pre-historic cave because it wasn't "designated" historic by previous members. Yet, native americans most likely spent the night in there - kind of a pre-bed and breakfast. Previous members and reporters wrote articles about its historic nature, but had never taken a vote.

At a subsequent meeting we designated lots of cemeteries, individual graves, caves, etc as historic. That is a power HC commissions sometimes don't fully take advantage of.

In the end, we saved part of the cave and the historic designation did matter.
