Fall classes for the UMass Amherst-Hancock Shaker village Preservation
Program are open for registration at

We offer courses in
--building conservation
--architectural materials testing
--architectural history
--green building and preservation
--structural and mechanical systems
--history and theory of historic preservation
Courses are offered on alternate Friday afternoons and on Saturdays, in
order to accommodate people with work and family obligations.
If you are a..
..preservation professional eager to gain a Master of Science in Historic
Preservation from UMass Amherst, or simply want more expertise in a
particular area
..builder, developer, or craftsperson eager to expand your knowledge of
historic preservation policy and practice
.historical commission member or preservation activist and want to
