All,

244 Main Street, Medford, one of four remaining pre-1900 homes (of 6
originally built) in an early subdivision of South Medford, has been found
by the Medford Historical Commission to be preferably preserved. The
owners intend to demolish it and replace it with apartments. They have
listed the property for sale --

--
and the house itself may be purchased for $1 if the purchaser moves it.

It is a beautiful ca. 1870 Second Empire home that has been unoccupied for
the past several years and would obviously need some TLC.

Please contact me for further information -- jkossuth[at]gmail[dot]com.

Thanks,

James Kossuth
Chair, Medford Historical Commission
