[MassHistPres] Seeking Proposals for Early Industrial Period Survey Phase III in Newton

SURVEY PHASE III - RFP #15-10

The Newton Planning Department, by and through the City of Newton, is
seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultant(s) to
undertake a survey of 125 historic properties to Massachusetts Historical
Commission's standard as part of Newton's Early Industrial Period
Architectural Survey Phase III. Proposals must be received at the City of
Newton Purchasing Department, Newton City Hall, 1000 Commonwealth
Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts, 02459, on or before 10:00 a.m., Thursday,
September 4th, 2014.

The City of Newton reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any
informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City's best interest.
The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing the scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, is available on line at:
www.newtonma.gov/bids or at the Purchasing Department, Newton City
Hall, 1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts, 02459.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications. Combined key
personnel (can be more than one person) shall have the following:
(1) a Master's degree in History, Architectural History, Historic Preservation,
Art History, or a closely related field; and (2) five years of professional
experience in historic preservation.
