[MassHistPres] Examples of CPA funds used for Historic Preservation of Privately Owned Property?

Weston has passed 9 Preservation Restrictions on privately owned properties, voted through at town meetings since the CPA was established. 7 were implemented, 2 were rejected by the owners after they were approved. All had CPA money, which was determined through a qualified appraisal, and then released to the owners once the restriction was put on the deed.
Weston also saved 2 private properties before the CPA was established. Can I suggest you or your contact call one of us here to understand the pros and cons of this process.

> I agree, and would add that oversight on how money is spent in the initial grant is also very important. Also important is requesting the Board of Selectmen to delegate the oversight to the Historical Commission.
