Subject: [MassHistPres] List of possible organizations interested in moving historic home
Hi all,
The Woburn Historical Commission have received a demo delay application for a home built in the late 17th century. It is in wonderful condition and is historic because of the people who lived there, as well as it uniqueness in our city. According to a member of the WHC, the interior "has a fully-developed early Federal parlor." Another member had permission to photograph the interior during a recent open house. A developer has submitted the demo delay application, and we would like to give the owner a list of possible organizations or persons who might be interested in purchasing the structure with the view of moving it. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Carol Seitz
Chairman
Woburn Historical Commission
