Yes, we have the First Parish Church in our local historic district.

You can find out how many churches in LHDs by using MACRIS. Search - ALL
Towns, DESIGNATION = LHD, USE TYPE = Church, Chapel...Resource Type =
Building and you will get the full list of all churches in LHDs in the
Commonwealth..That way you will also learn all the towns that have churches
in their LHDs and you can look for towns near you.

Dear Local Historic Districts

I'm looking for some numbers: do you have a church in your LHD?

If so, please send your town and name of your LHD to us.

We are working on a Polish Heritage Local Historic District that includes a
closed Catholic Church, Mater Delorosa and can use some other LHD as
examples for our City Council.

Thanks for your time,

Olivia Mausel, Co-Chair
