Shane, here is a link to a list of cities and towns with demolition delay.

Do you have the MHC sample demolition delay bylaw? What other kinds of things are you looking for? Chris.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Demolition Delay Ordinance

Hello,

The City of Brockton is looking into the process, creation and implementation of a Demolition Delay ordinance. If anyone has had experience in working on such an ordinance, know of a current Massachusetts’ Demo Delay Ordinance that is in effect and in a system that works, or any other information regarding where to start (timeline) of such a process, we’d greatly appreciate. Brockton is looking to ramp up its historic preservation efforts in our City Ordinance. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane O'Brien
