[MassHistPres] Signage Identifying and Locating Your Historic District

We are planning for the installation of our recently passed Architectural Preservation District in Ipswich and are currently awaiting the imprimatur of the state Attorney General.  I wonder how you approached identifying the location of  your historic district.  Do you have signs?  Have you created "a brand"?  Do you mark each street entering or leaving the area, or identify the center?  I've covered Northern Essex County with car and cellphone pictures but would greatly appreciate seeing how you solved the situation outside of my small radius.
