TOWN OF Whitman
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP # RFP 16WCH001
The Whitman Historical Commission, by and through the Town of Whitman, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the "Whitman Community-wide Historic Properties Survey." Proposals must be received at the Office of the Selectmen, Whitman Town Hall, 54 South Avenue, Whitman, MA 02382, on or before 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2015.
The Town of Whitman reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town's best interest.
The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available on the Town of Whitman's website (www.whitman-ma.gov<http://www.whitman-ma.gov>) under "Procurement" or by email to bids at whitman-ma.gov<mailto:bids at whitman-ma.gov> upon request after 8:00 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2015. A printed copy can be obtained at the Office of the Selectmen, after 8:00 AM, Monday, July 13, 2015.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
