[MassHistPres] Converting Historic Residence to Retail Use

In Lenox we have a 120 + year old wooden (shingle style) home that the owner wants to convert to retail use.  Doing so requires meeting more rigorous codes for access, structural support, etc which the owner contends cannot be done without demolishing the building and replacing it with a slightly larger but similar new building.

Can anyone suggest an architect who could evaluate the potential to renovate the existing structure so as to affordably meet current code requirements without demolishing the existing wood frame house?
