The Town of Amherst used Monument Conservation Collaborative for about 250 headstones in our oldest burying ground, which also dates from 1730. They did a very good and thorough job of documenting and restoration. I recommend them.

The Town of Southborough is looking for recommendations for experienced persons to document and restore broken and leaning gravestones, footstones etc. in the Old Burial Ground (1730-1843), located in the historic town center.

A survey was conducted in 2000, see SBR.801 on MACRIS: http://mhc-macris.net/Details.aspx?MhcId=SBR.801
