A home owner in Milton Ma would like to demolish a c.1850s National Register Property and build a brand new commercial building. The rear of the building abuts conversation land. More importantly, The property is located on Blue Hills Parkway which is state highway maintained by DCR and is on the National Register. New curb cuts will be required with the normal permits. Since the existing property and new property are in clear view of Blue Hills Parkway, are there any special concerns that need to be addressed ? This development will go before Town Meeting for approval next month.
