STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION PLAN-ONLINE QUESTIONNAIRE
****We have received over 300 responses so far to our online questionnaire.  If you haven't submitted comments yet, please use the link below.  The survey will be closed on April 22, 2016.****
As part of the development of the next 5 year state historic preservation plan, the Massachusetts Historical Commission is seeking the input of the preservation community through an on-line survey questionnaire.  The survey results will help summarize the preservation community's recent preservation successes, current challenges and recommendations for the next five years.  Please take a few minutes to fill out the online survey. The survey includes 22 questions.  We expect it will take about 5 minutes to complete. NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF PRESERVATION COMMISSIONS 2016 NAPC COMMISSION EXCELLENCE AWARDS
The National Alliance of Preservation Commissions is accepting applications for the 2016 NAPC Commission Excellence Awards<http://bit.ly/20qJdb5> program to recognize and honor outstanding efforts and achievements by local preservation, historic district, and landmark commissions and boards of architectural review. Award presentations will be made at NAPC Forum 2016 to be held in Mobile, AL, July 27-31.  For award nomination information, visit http://bit.ly/20qJdb5.
The submission deadline is March 15, 2016.

WESTERN MA HISTORICAL COMMISSION COALITION WORKSHOP
The next meeting of the Western MA Historical Commission Coalition will be held Wednesday, March 23rd, from 10am-noon, at the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) in Greenfield in the 1st floor meeting room, J W Olver Transit Building, 12 Olive Street.   The topic will be Old House Care and will feature guest speaker Sally Zimmerman from Historic New England.
