The Framingham History Center is presenting a rare opportunity to visit a
private First Period home (1696) - truly a preservationist's dream - during
their House Tour on Sunday, May 15th. The home, which was written up in the
Bulletin for the Preservation of New England Antiquities in the 1950s,
seems relatively untouched most likely due to the fact that it was in the
same family for 252 years. The location of the site is top secret until the
day of the tour, but its condition and connection to the American Revolution
make this site alone worth coming out for the tour! (There are five other
sites as well covering the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries). For more
information, visit http://www.framinghamhistory.org/framingham-house-tour.
