[MassHistPres] Securing large buildings

The City of Waltham has a number of buildings that are in worsening
condition, and need security and stabilization. Does anyone have ballpark
figures on what it costs to properly secure large, late 19th/early 20th
century brick buildings with metal coverings for windows, etc.? I very much
like what Mefield State Hospital has done, if any of you are familiar with
it. I am hoping to use the ballpark as a way of ascertaining a reasonable
bid price for such work.

Any and all advice is welcome and helpful.
