LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF ARLINGTON
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP # 17-41
The Town of Arlington, by and through Arlington’s Historic and Cultural
Resources Working Group, is seeking proposals from qualified historic
preservation consultants to undertake the “Arlington Community-wide
Historic Properties Survey.” Proposals must be received at the Purchasing
Department, Arlington Town Hall, 730 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA
02476, on or before 10:00 am, Friday, August 18, 2017.
The Town of Arlington reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to
waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s
best interest.
The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request after
10:00 am, Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Town of Arlington Purchasing
Department webpage: www.arlingtonma.gov/purchasing.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any
of the above mentioned areas.
The RFP may be viewed and printed from www.arlingtonma.gov/purchasing within
the Purchasing Department, under RFP # 17-41.
Questions regarding the RFP must be e-mailed to
nstrosberg at town.arlington.ma.us. Questions must be received no later than
4:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2017.
