Hopkinton frequently uses CPA funds to preserve Historical Records under the auspices of the Public Library. If the documents are historic there is clearly precedent for restoring them. Providing a replacement document where the original is not restorable is also included in the approved scope but this is perhaps challengeable in the applicability of the Historical Preservation funds.
