The City of New Bedford, by and through its Planning Department, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake an intensive-level survey and update of cultural and architectural resources along the city's waterfront.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas.

The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing Scope of Work, Proposal Requirements, and Evaluation Criteria may be obtained by emailing anne.louro at newbedford-ma.gov<mailto:anne.louro at newbedford-ma.gov>. on or after Monday July 29, 2019 @8:00AM.
All questions regarding this RFQ must be received by the City no later than 11:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2019 and addressed to the attention of Anne Louro, Preservation Planner, City of New Bedford, and may be e-mailed, and if e-mailed must be marked in the subject line "RFQ Historic Properties Survey" to anne.louro at newbedford-ma.gov<mailto:anne.louro at newbedford-ma.gov>.
Responses will be received at the Planning Department, Room 303, City Hall, 133 William Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, 02740 on or before 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Office Hours: Monday thru Friday-8:30AM - 4:00PM.
