[MassHistPres] gravestone rubbing

The Sturbridge Historical Commission, in addition to the possibility of
cleaning gravestones, is also concerned about gravestone rubbing and the
application of chemicals to the stones to improve photographic images.

Please let me know if your town or a town you know of has a policy
discouraging rubbing and the application of chemicals and if they have
signs outlining that policy at the cemeteries in their town.

Any information you provide may help us promote the idea in Sturbridge. A
list of towns with a policy and signs will be extremely helpful when we
take the issue to the Selectmen/women..
