monray and allied are both excellent storms...lead time is rather significant as is the
financial investment...I am not familiar with storms by stergis...

I typically encourage clients to choose an exterior storm due to the protection they
offer the exterior of the primary window sash...paints available these days exhibit a
much shorter life span than that of paints 20 years or more ago...that said, I have used
inner-glass storms when specified by the building owner...the downside is that they are made
of vinyl...they are well constructed and do an excellent job of sealing air and noise infiltration...
unless they have update to integrated screens, you may need to remove and store inner-glass
storms on a seasonal basis...
best...

Barbara,

I've used these Point 1 storms from Custom Built and they are excellent - square profile, approved by many HDCs in RI.

Affordable and made to order for exact fit.

Hello Everyone,

Is anyone familiar with storm windows made by Stergis and the Momentum model in particular or any other model from Stergis that is appropriate for a historic building?.

Thank you for anything you can share.
