Hello to all,
    I am trying to research for tonight’s town meeting. I can’t yet find a definitive answer and so I seek your help.
      I thought I read that a Historic Preservation Plan is a requirement within a Local Comprehensive Plan.  The proposal at town meeting only eludes to  identifying historic and cultural assets with general plans ,and such plans are often left at the wayside. Is there a requirement within the LCP for a separate Historic Preservation Plan or is it just a suggestion?    I believe a separate Historic Preservation plan within the LCP would offer more strength.
