CITY OF BEVERLY

REQUEST FOR QUOTES

RFQ # 19-024



The City of Beverly, by and through the Beverly Planning Department, is
seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to
undertake the “Beverly Community-wide Historic Preservation Plan.”
Responses must be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Beverly
City Hall, 191 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915, on or before 11:00 am,
Friday, October 11, 2019.



The City of Beverly reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to
waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City’s
best interest.



The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request
after 10:00 am, Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Office of the Purchasing
Agent, Beverly City Hall, 191 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915, or by
contacting the Purchasing Agent by e-mail or telephone at
dgelineau at beverlyma.gov or (978) 921-6000 x2350.



Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any
of the above mentioned areas.



The RFQ may be viewed and printed from www.beverlyma.gov within the
Purchasing Department, under Open Bids, RFQ # 19-024.



Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and either e-mailed to
dgelineau at beverlyma.gov.



Office hours:   Monday - Wednesday (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Thursday (8:30 am - 7:30 pm)

Friday (8:30 am - 1:00 pm)
