[MassHistPres] TOWN OF MARBLEHEAD REQUEST FOR QUOTES

The Town of Marblehead, by and through the Marblehead Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Marblehead Neck Neighborhood Historic Properties Survey.” Responses must be received at the Office of the Board of Selectmen
Abbot Hall 188 Washington Street, Marblehead, Massachusetts 01945, on or before 10:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2020.

The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request beginning at 10:00 am, Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Office of the Board of Selectmen, Town of Marblehead, 188 Washington Street , Marblehead, MA 01945 (781) 631-0000.  Office hours  are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM , Wednesday 8 AM to 6 PM and Friday 8 AM to 12:30 PM

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
Questions regarding the RFQ must be written e-mailed to rebeccac at marblehead.org  by August 28, 2020.

The Town of Marblehead reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed to be in the  best interest of the Town.
