TOWN OF DRACUT, MA.

REQUEST FOR QUOTES


Collinsville and Navy Yard Mill Historic Neighborhoods
Historic Properties Survey

The Town of Dracut, Ma. (Town) is seeking quotes from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake two intensive-level, neighborhood surveys of cultural and architectural resources in the Navy Yard and Collinsville Mill Historic Neighborhoods, located in the Town.

Requests for Quotes (RFQ) will be available beginning Monday, August 31, 2020. Quote Documents will be available from Barbara O'Connor, the Town of Dracut's Procurement Officer.  Her telephone number is 978-770-2584 and email is:  BOconnor at dracutma.gov<mailto:BOconnor at dracutma.gov>.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the abovementioned areas.

All quotes shall be submitted to Ms. O'Connor by Friday, September 25, 2020 at 10am, in the form of hardcopy proposals or fax and on-line (email) submissions.

Each quote shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions within the RFQ.     Addenda will be emailed to all Plan holders registered with the Procurement Officer.

Questions regarding this Request for Quotes must be written and submitted via U.S. Mail or via email to BOconnor at dracutma.gov<mailto:BOconnor at dracutma.gov> by Friday, September 11, 2020 by 12 noon. Responses to questions will be forwarded out via email by Wednesday, September 16, 2020 by 2pm.


Award will be made to the responsive, responsible consultant, meeting the minimum qualifications, offering the lowest price.  The Town reserves the right to reject all quotes, in whole or in part, as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
