As you may know, Pannier supply the signs that MWRA has been using along their aqueduct trails and elsewhere — for instance recently at the Pine Tree Preserve, a wooded triangle that belongs to MWRA but looks like part of the BC campus, across from the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. The sign is at the top of the hill.
There is also proposed to be several of them used around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir itself.
It is my understanding that on its own properties, it is MWRA’s practice to buy a backup graphic panel for each installation in anticipation of the occasional extreme act of vandalism, given the remote locations where those signs often are placed, but that the actual need for replacements has been relatively low, I believe MWRA's standard signs are the cantilevered version 48” x 36” including a 1” frame around the edge — which is different from the configuration used at Pine Tree Preserve.
