Forwarding this upcoming webinar on virtual public meetings to masshistpres members. Although it will take a national approach, I am still expecting it to be a useful session to attend.
Hope you are all doing as well as possible. Chris.

Subject: [NAPC-L] Free Webinar: Virtual Public Meetings Part 1: Legal Issues
With traditional, in-person public meetings on hold for the foreseeable future, local preservation commissions and advocates are exploring new ways to conduct their work and engage community members. To inform these efforts, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) are partnering on a two-part webinar series on how to plan and implement effective virtual public meetings.
Part I in the series will focus on the legal issues involved in adapting local preservation commission activities to the crisis.
This webinar has been submitted for CEU's from the American Institute of Architects and the American Planning Association.
The Forum Webinars are currently free, and open to the public.
