[MassHistPres] Historical Commissions experience as PR Grantee

The Littleton Historical Commission is poised to serve as Grantee for a historic preservation restriction. We are seeking information on what other Historical Commissions' experience has been serving in this role (exterior and/or interior features). Has the process gone smoothly in general? What challenges have you dealt with, and how? Have many violations occurred by owners/occupants? Were the violations relatively easy to resolve?
