Hello everyone!

My name is Devon King, I am a public history master's student at UMass Amherst, studying historic preservation and environmental and urban history. I have been interning with Chris Skelly in the Local Government Programs office at the Mass Historical Commission for the past several months. During the fall semester, I reviewed the 309 active municipal historical commission websites, surveying their layout, ease of access to relevant resources, and a variety of other criteria. The attached document is a summary of my findings as well as a short guide I hope will be of use when managing your commission’s website!
