TOWN OF MARION 
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 
 
The Town of Marion, by and through the Marion Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Marion Village -- Historic Survey Update and Expansion – Phase II.” Responses must be received at the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Marion Town House, 2 Spring Street, Marion, MA 02738 on or before 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
 
 The Town of Marion reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest.
 
 The Request for Qualifications (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Marion Town House, 2 Spring Street, Marion, Massachusetts 02738 or by contacting the Procurement Officer by e-mail or telephone at jmcgrail at marionma.gov or (508) 748-3520.
 
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned areas.
 
 The RFQ may be viewed and printed from   https://www.marionma.gov/bids  under Open Bids. 
Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and e-mailed to jmcgrail at marionma.gov by August 18, 2021.

                        Friday (8:00 am - 3:30 pm)
