The Town of Amherst contracted with Schiff Architectural Detail for some
complicated work of this type on the 19th-century cast iron fence around
the family plot of Emily Dickinson in historic West Cemetery.

The work included repair and repainting of such rusted and delaminated
portions as could be retained, replacement of those that could not be
retained or were missing (including casting new parts), and cleaning and
resetting of granite piers. Schiff did excellent work, and I witnessed
the reinstallation in 2013.
