Wood Windows and Your Old House, Online Lecture
Join Historic New England on March 30th at 5:30 pm for an online lecture on Wood Windows and Your Old house. Wood windows are an integral part of your old home's design and visual character. But aren't they drafty, and simply impractical to maintain? This online lecture addresses common misconceptions about historic wood windows and discusses what homeowners can do to improve their energy efficiency and keep them looking their best. Learn how to identify problems and assess repair work, and see how old wood windows really stack up against modern replacements.
This lecture will be presented by Natasha Klemek, Preservation Carpenter at Historic New England.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. Visit HistoricNewEngland.org<https://my.historicnewengland.org/6800/wood-windows> to register. Feel free to share with anyone you think would be interested in attending.
