Good Day to all, I know I have seen paperwork that states Historical Commissions can have Associate members. They can participate in meetings, but not vote. This was in reference to "trial" period for a person to decide if they would like to request being an appointed member via the BOS.
Does anyone have information on this. We are trying to keep a long standing member of the HC in an "official" capacity. We have our 1877 Schoolhouse on the Lower Green and we need to have this person be a "docent". I believe we can only have actual members doing this due to liability.
Please help if you can. We need to get this straightened out before the end of the fiscal year.
Thank you,
Janice Forrest, Secretary/ClerkNEWBURY HISTORICAL COMMISSION12 Kent WayByfield, MA 01922historicalcomm at townofnewbury.org
