Thanks, Jamie, this is super helpful!

FYI, David Graf of Kittery restored Cambridge’s City Hall clock many years ago, and still comes down every week to wind it.

Thank you to everyone who responded to this request. I've compiled the responses and consultant recommendations into a word document (attached) so that everyone on this list has a chance to look through the collective knowledge that was sent to me in direct emails and via the listserv.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2023!

Good afternoon,
The City of Easthampton is considering restoration of a non-functional historic clock & related appurtenances on a historic masonry bell tower. Included is the clock faces & hands, clock works, bells, and bell ringing equipment. The project may also expand to include restoration work to the bell tower and steeple. We are looking for consultant recommendations and any lessons learned from other municipalities that have done similar restoration projects in the past. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
