Devon,
Your report is exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
May I ask if you do consulting on how best to reorganize a town's website, specifically relating to the Historic components (Historical Commission, Local Historic Districts)?

Good afternoon,
Responding to your inquiry, Mr. Roughan, about examples of good historical commission websites. During my graduate studies, I interned with MHC to conduct a survey of historical commission websites across the state to create a set of best practices that may be just what you are looking for!
The report - which includes case examples of "well-designed" commission websites with links - can be found on Preservation Mass' website here: https://www.preservationmass.org/localhistoricalcommissions<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.preservationmass.org%2Flocalhistoricalcommissions&data=04%7C01%7Cmichael.roughan%40hdrinc.com%7Ccf6a161bbe9d44ebfab908d9f48530d6%7C3667e201cbdc48b39b425d2d3f16e2a9%7C0%7C0%7C637809675452091326%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=ddAa6Ajn2NQVBsKeKLNAFXm5xfzncm0eYhPbNzc1qSo%3D&reserved=0>
I hope this helps your endeavor!

The town of Hopkinton is looking to do a Web refresh project and has asked the committee chairpersons for their input. Since both Planners and Preservationists have a strong interest in effective communication, I thought I'd ask both groups for their input.
Does anyone have examples of great town or other websites that the Town of Hopkinton might want to emulate? Links to relevant sites would be fantastic.
