For the many members of masshistpres listserv who consult the Massachusetts Cultural Resources Information System (MACRIS) at https://mhc-macris.net please note that the MHC launched a new, updated version of the MACRIS site over the weekend. The url for the site remains the same, but you may need to clear your browser cache in order to access the site for the first time. The site opens with a Terms and Disclaimer page. Scroll down to the bottom, and click directly on the long, blue bar that states "I acknowledge that I have read and understand..." It is a button, and will bring you to the MACRIS home page.
You will find an entirely new look to MACRIS, and a few new features. Help buttons are located throughout to assist in familiarizing you with the way the search process works. If you have questions or to report any issues, please contact us at mhc at sec.state.ma.us<mailto:mhc at sec.state.ma.us>
Best regards,
Michael
