Hello
Google Wolfe House Movers. They are nationwide and experts. Good luck.

Hi Peter,
About 14 or so years ago a private owner moved the Comstock House in Mendon Ma with Payne Movers out of New Hampshire. From my understanding of the project the move went very well. You might want to give them a call.

Last year the Hanover Historical Commission placed a year-long demolition delay on a historic house in town. Since we have been unsuccessful in convincing the owner to retain the house as part of the plan for the property, this past December we decided that moving the house was the only way to save it.
We have located a site and identified a builder experienced in old house restoration/renovation, and he is willing to take on this project. He has a team of specialists in place - all of whom he has worked with in the past. However, he has not found a house mover. Does anyone have any recommendations? He has contacted Gordon Building Movers in Hingham, but recently they have not been returning calls.
The move would be one mile, on public streets. This would be a private project; the Commission would have no legal role. Our role has been - and will be - to provide information and make inquiries and introductions for the man who has agreed to take this on. The house needs to be moved prior to June 8, 2022.
Suggestions and advice from anyone who has experience with such a project would also be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter Johnson
Chair
Hanover Historical Commission
