Marvin makes a very nice window that is wood frame with very narrow aluminum inserts for the screens and storms. We have them on our house and I would recommend looking at the Marvin website to see if they are still available. We built our house 30 years ago so I am not sure. There is a Marvin store in Leicester, Ma and they may be able to help you. If you google it I think you will find it.

Presently our district allows wood and also aluminum clad wood in some circumstances. We are looking at composites and other solutions for small outbuildings such as garages that are not highly visible and are somewhat affordable.
