That project lost by a mere 6 votes.  In the second project, an RFP project was created and was the only submission  by a non-profit. The BOS told us we could not access the CPA funding source if we were granted the RFP. Which of Course is not allowed but with their influence it would would have been useless.In other words in our town, influence of BOS and capital outlay and finance committee can be a problem if they do not support a preservation project.
