Also Dan Cullity and Son of East Sandwich. They do this type of work beautifully. 508-888-1147.

I asked a friend who is knowledgeable about this and she said:
"Steen Cannons in Ashland, KY specialize in restoration of this type of cannon, both barrel and carriages. Everything would be done according to the original specifications. They are the best, doing most of the stuff in Gettysburg.
Also Paulson Brothers, but mainly carriages and equipment.
Trail Rock Ordnance in TN, but they mainly sell new carriages.
The best thing would be to query the editor of Artilleyman Magazine, Larry Babits or Jack Melton.

Brimfield is looking into having some conservation work done on 4 Parrott Gun cannons which are part of our 170 year old Civil War monument. Does anyone know of any preservation consultants we could contact who could address this?
Thanks,
Mike DeFalco
