[MassHistPres] LHD Violations and Enforcement

Hi, I am looking for some case studies related to violations and
enforcement within a local historic district.  Have you had alterations on
a property in your local historic district that occurred without first
obtaining a certificate of appropriateness?  How was the situation handled
by your commission, building inspector and the municipality in general?

The case studies I am looking for could be complicated, such as ending up
in court, or something far simpler that had a quick resolution.  Thanks for
